Alodia Arts welcomes African writing and visual art — with a special focus on South Sudan and the Greater Sudan region — through published open calls with clear guidelines, thoughtful review and respect for creative ownership.
Before you submit
Read the call closely, prepare the requested files, identify the correct creative form and include enough context for our editors or curators to understand the work.
How review works
Submissions are reviewed against the published call, fit with Alodia Paper or Alodia Gallery, creative strength and our current editorial or curatorial capacity.
Your rights
Submitting does not transfer ownership. If we wish to publish or exhibit your work, we will explain the proposed use, credit and relevant terms before proceeding.
No open calls at the moment
Active calls for poetry, short stories, essays, paintings, drawings, photography and illustration will appear here. While calls are closed, you can develop your practice through our programs and prepare a portfolio for the next opportunity.
